Role:

Customer Service Representative, Crushing and Screening will be responsible for his/her defined sales territory which includes the maintenance of current customer relationships, the development and growth of new sales of crushing and screening equipment, and after-sales and service. This objective will be achieved by building on the current strategies and tactics that will allow Strongco to build the customer base of this market segment and by working closely with the branch operations and internal product specialists.

The successful candidate will be supported through the network of Strongco operational facilities, management, and technical staff in the designated territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies and tactics to achieve the above objectives
  • Monitor our various initiatives, action plans, and KPIs related to crushing and screening
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and growth, prioritize them, and put action plans in place.
  • Work with Various Strongco Quebec branch operations to achieve our goals
  • Ensure proper customer coverage in this market segment.
  • Regularly visit our customers to understand our positioning and Strongco's perceptions in the marketplace
  • Visit our branches regularly to develop productive working relationships
  • Develop our range of solutions (products and services) to better serve our customers
  • Report to management on market trends and opportunities that will allow Strongco management to develop business relationships with our suppliers to support them in achieving our joint objectives
  • Will travel and develop/grow business opportunities in Quebec and the Eastern region of Canada

Performance measures:

  • Growth in equipment, parts, and service sales
  • Increase the profitability of this sector of activity
  • Improve customer satisfaction

Profile:

  • Three to five-plus years of experience in the mining, aggregate, building materials recycling, or related field
  • It would be considered an asset if the successful applicant resided in the Quebec City/ St. Augustin or Trois Rivières areas
  • An understanding of aggregate and ore production processes of aggregates
  • Self-motivated
  • Bilingualism would be considered an asset
  • Have a proven track record of building/growing profitable sales
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Customer service is a constant concern
  • Have a positive and winning attitude

  • It would be considered an asset if the successful applicant resided in the Quebec City/ St. Augustin or Trois Rivières areas
