Job Summary:
The Territory Manager is responsible for managing a geographic sales territory while ensuring market share growth and customer relationship development. The Territory Manager will also be responsible for expense control, sales staff training, CRM updates and monthly and annual sales forecasts.
Responsibilities::
Sell Strongco products
Identify and cultivate relationships with potential customers through site visits
Provide timely monthly and annual sales forecasts
Gather business valuation information
Prepare initial cost sheets prior to new transactions
Facilitate the successful execution of transactions as a liaison with the customer
Assist with RFQ's/RFP's
Manage all costs associated with land management (expenses).
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership skills coupled with comprehensive experience in all facets of IS and IT hardware and software systems
Ability to plan and implement advanced technologies and business solutions while maintaining a focus on results
Team management style and strong interpersonal and interactive communication skills
Goal and objective oriented; Persistent and exceptional creative listening skills.
Education/Training:
Post-secondary degree and/or relevant work experience in sales
Finance/rental training
Participation and completion of product training.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Work is performed primarily in a combination of office and factory environment with frequent visits within the designated geographic territory
Work requires moderate physical effort which includes bending, kneeling and walking
Overnight travel will be required frequently.
