Senior Specialist Parts


The Senior Parts Specialist is responsible for assisting Technicians with parts ordering, order entry and procurement, order tracking and Customer Service for all warranty and returns-related inquiries.


  • Order parts for the technicians (inside & out)
  • Plan purchases to the job – i.e., parts purchased on daily stock order when possible
  • Track all field service parts orders and time sensitive shop jobs
  • Source local parts as required
  • Quoting parts for service work
  • Confirming source and deliveries of all parts prior to order advisement back to Service staff
  • Inspect parts returned for credit – based on company and vendor policies
  • All parts warranty processing to Warranty Dept
  • Housekeeping of areas of responsibility
  • Back up support to customer counter
  • Answering phones in less than 4 rings
  • Ensuring that backorders are up to date
  • Timely communication with technicians and or customers
  • Assist in training and transition of Inventory Control position
  • Complete all assigned Factory, Strongco and Health & Safety Training


  • Knowledge of heavy equipment industry
  • Knowledge of vendor software and systems
  • Knowledge of Parts processes
  • Computer skills
  • Equipment structure and function


  • Post-secondary diploma and/or relevant work experience.
