SUMMARY
The Territory Manager is responsible for managing a geographic sales territory primarily representing Volvo Construction Equipment and Sennebogen Material Handlers, while ensuring market share growth and customer relationship development. The Territory Manager will also be responsible for customer account management, territory management, completing sales training, CRM updates, and monthly and annual sales forecasts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sell Strongco products;
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential customers through site visits;
- Provide monthly and yearly sales forecasts on a timely basis;
- Gathering trade appraisal information;
- Deliver quotes and negotiate proposals;
- Facilitate the smooth completion of deals as liaison with customer;
- Assist with RFQs/RFPs;
- Report market metrics as they relate to the defined territory;
- Utilize CRM for daily/weekly information required;
- Deliver and familiarize customers with their machine purchases;
- Attendance and completion of product training;

EDUCATION/ TRAINING:
- Post-secondary diploma and/or relevant work experience in Construction Equipment sales in the Calgary and surrounding area;
- Previous sales training with industry experience;
- Equipment finance/lease experience;
